2026 is the Year of the Horse: are you one?
In Chinese tradition every year belongs to one of twelve animals, and 2026 is the year of the Horse. It began at Lunar New Year on 17 February 2026 and runs until 5 February 2027.
Who is a Horse?
If you were born in 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002 or 2014, your sign is the Horse. Born in January or early February? The zodiac year starts at Lunar New Year, not on 1 January, so if your birthday falls before that date, use the previous year.
How the Horse is read
The Horse is traditionally linked with energy, freedom and forward motion: people who like to keep moving, who are warm, quick and a little restless. Like every sign, it is a tradition people enjoy and share, not a prediction.
A piece to mark it
Our Hetian jade Horse pendant is carved in relief with a running horse among clouds and waves, and it comes with a chain in your choice of three lengths. It is a gift people choose for a Horse in their life, or for themselves.
